Installation Instructions for Windows 95/98/ME/2000

1. Insert the CD-ROM in your drive. The setup program should begin automatically.
If the setup does NOT start, click START, RUN, type in D:\INSTALL substituting
your CD drive letter for D. Or you can double-click your My Computer icon,
double-click the CD drive icon, then double-click on INSTALL.

If the setup program needs to update system files, you may be prompted to restart
your computer now. Clicking OK will restart automatically and then you will need
to perform step 1 again.

2. You will see several screens of information, and click NEXT or press ENTER to
continue on each.

3. Files will now be installed automatically to your hard drive. After they finish you will be prompted to reboot your computer when files are done installing. When your
machine restarts, you may be prompted to log in to Windows. Do not enter a
password or you will have to use it every time. Simply leave the password blank
unless you want to set a Windows password. You will not be prompted to log into
Windows again if you leave the password blank.

4. When Windows restarts, the Setup Wizard will automatically dial and download the
current configuration information. Wait for this to complete. When prompted, enter
the local area code for your location. This is the area code for YOUR phone number
that your computer is plugged in to. A local number in the same area code will be
automatically selected for dialing in to the Internet. You can also manually select any
number in the list, but be aware of any long distance charges you may incur by dialing
a number not in your local area code. If you need to set any special dialing options
such as dialing a 9 or disabling call-waiting, click the Dialing Properties button on this
screen. Click NEXT or press ENTER to continue.

5. The Setup Wizard will prompt you to enter all the necessary information for creating
your new account. When you have completed this, click FINISH. The Setup Wizard
will automatically dial in and communicate with the signup server. If your signup is
successful you will receive a Congratulations message. If any information is not valid
you will be prompted to re-enter it until it is successful.
6. When you get the Congratulations message then click OK. Your machine is now
configured to use your new Internet account. Click the new globe icon on your
desktop to begin using the Internet.

Special note for Windows NT users:

After beginning the installation as shown above, the setup program will check to see
if Dialup Networking has previously been installed. If not, it will be installed
automatically now. When prompted to select a protocol, choose TCP/IP. If Dialup
Networking components must be added, you will be prompted to restart the
machine at the end of this step. After restarting, launch the setup program again as
in step 1 above.

This software is not supported on Windows NT Server, only Workstation. Some
users have reported success on NT Server, but it is not recommended.
